The beginning of every month that we do a life theming podcast. So this is where we pick a theme for the month. We call it life theming. It is typically about self betterment, helping yourself out which in turn helps yourself, your your loved ones, your community, your friends, your family.

And it makes society better as a whole by making you better. Isn't that great thing? If you fix each brick in a building, you'll have a stronger.

Got the delights knocked out of me last Saturday at the jujitsu tournament and still kind of recouping so. But last month was active. April, I'd like you to let us know in the comments below. We're able to achieve. Maybe you needed help. Maybe you still need help. You can always keep a life theme going. I encourage that. I encourage you to. You know, if you picked up like a workout routine to just keep it going, why not? Why not? Why? Why? Just like, let it fall. By the way side like.

I'll workout in next April. It's like, yeah, but then you're going to be a fat curmudgeon and you're not going to do anything, and it's just going to be bad for your overall health. You're going to lose.

You can lose lose motivation and that's what our Mondays are all about. As we know on the channel is motivational Mondays, getting your **** in gear for the week with cool little tidbits and little pushes so but active April has ended and we encourage people to take on this month's theme as well as you can take on previous years month themes.

I'm actually going back to 2021 and stealing the may theme for that one, which is mind your may, and this is a mental health may it is is working on your mind. So whether it is.

The fact that you're, you know, maybe picking up Sudoku and just kind of honing the sharpness of your mind or you're reading more books this month, maybe you have a mental problem that you're working.

On for whatever reason, maybe you're agoraphobic. You don't want to leave your house. Maybe you you you really want to tackle public speaking this month, and so you want to join Toastmasters or or some other organization that allows you to help better do that.

You know, just there's a series of things, you know, maybe, maybe you don't talk to your spouse enough and you just need to do that and work on your relationships. I mean, that's all just as much physical as it is mental. And so I encourage you to take a ride, a broad brush when you are.

Painting in your life theming endeavors and so with that said, please go through and just figure out how you're going to mind your may. And you're more than welcome to go back into previous years on the channel and and pick a life theme to incorporate as well. Maybe do 2 themes a month.

I can't remember what last year's theme is, but in 2023 we had slain may, which I believe was also last year's.

Yeah, I had slain may for two years in a row, which essentially was just living your best life. So it was just focus on just kind of doing the things that you wanted to do, right. But then in 2020.

Right at the beginning of COVID we had music or muscle may. So you could either work, you could be active and work on like, you know, getting a fitness routine in or you could work on music so you can always dive back into some of those. I believe we had one here it is may cover.

So that was in 2019, those pre COVID. So it was pretty much give yourself like something some style that you never had before. It was really interesting. It was just kind of an A goofball one, right. So you're always more than welcome to pick a goofball one maybe, maybe try on something different.

Wear different outfits. Different styles. Do a different haircut. Shave your beard a different way that goes for you. 2 ladies so, but there's just a there's a different it's a litany of things that you could do, but this month is.

Mind your may and I encourage all of you to work on your mind. If you, you know, introduce more people to the channel. Be like hey.

Listen, I'm minding my I'm minding my may and you know me and a spouse are going for a walk every day and discussing things right, like that's a that's a very healthy mental thing. But it also incorporating an activity that you can do with this other person and that doing activities with other people is not just a physical exercise. It's also.

Mental a mental habitual state right? Like so you have this like, oh, we just do this habit. We do it every morning just like brushing your teeth. And when you break habits like brushing your teeth, then your teeth fall out. See, like if there's a bad thing to breaking certain habits, especially good habits, right? I'm not telling you that, like, every day. You should just go like like I always smoke.

Crack right after work at 5:00. Like. No. OK, maybe that's a good habit to break.

You might notice that your house is not as clean because you're not as like frantically on crack and cleaning but you. But but you'll you'll survive. So anyways there goes a rabbit hole stuck my foot in that one. But anyways, yeah, so so this month's theme is Slate may end.

If you hadn't noticed, on the 20th of March, or around thereabouts, we incorporated, we started adverting advertising on the show and we started with one of my companies.

And we ran it for a month and then on the 20th of April, we started another advertising campaign for a local sub shop. And we are doing a free advertising campaign for one local business every month. We're putting them into either the mid roll or the pre roll of the show.
