I was listening to a Charlie Kirk video the other day.

It was just one of those short reels, but I'm sure it was part of the lead up to America Fest, AmFest.

And one of the things that he talks about is, I try to be a good husband, I try to be a good father, I try not to lie.

And I started thinking about the last part, and I'm trying to do a series of videos here to build this up, but

I try not to lie portion because I lie, you lie, everybody lies to some degree or another.

I'm sure even Charlie lied.

But it's to what degree?

There's some people that only lie.

There's some people that lie pathologically.

They believe it themselves and then they're able to sell it to other people where they mix in bits of the truth.

But it's one of those things like you'll catch yourself doing it, you try not to

But it's inevitable.

You're going to lie at some point to someone, to yourself.

And your best, the best thing you can do is to strive to not, to just tell the truth, to be open, to be transparent, all those things.

And that's what I try to do every day.

I heard that and it just reinforced it.

You're going to tell, you know, you're going to, your kid's going to do a drawing and it's not going to look the greatest, but you can tell them it's the best drawing you've ever seen, right?

You strive not to, but there's certain instances that you're like, okay, well, I'm not going to lie about other things, but at least, you know, I'll keep, I'll hang on to this little lie for now for the kids, yada, yada.
