Hey gang, Kevin here, Life22, and it's day two of learning guitar.

So, or picking up an instrument that you've dabbled with since college, whatever.

Day one is really about finding time in your schedule, getting down, and then just kind of messing around until your fingers start to hurt.

That's why I pick 30 minutes a day, and

Now that I've got my schedule worked out where I can get up, get things around, and just before the general day starts.

You brush your teeth and stuff like that, but before the general day starts, finding that 30 minutes.

Or maybe it's when you get home for the day, finding that 30 minutes.

And 30 minutes is a good amount of time because when you first start now, it gives you just enough time to hurt your hands when you're playing.

And it's one of those things, it's going to come with time.

This is what I remember every time I deal with a stringed instrument that, you know, maybe not so much the fiddle or the violin, but you know, like the mandolin or the guitar, things like that.

They're going to come with, they're going to come with some growing pains, especially if I haven't played in a while.

And the other nice part is just like, you know, getting your wrist kind of worked out too.

That's all part of the

the process.

And that's what day two has been about.

It's been about that and remembering the chords, using the internet.

It's a beautiful tool to learn guitar.

So it was one of those like, all right, I'm going to try the internet.

I'm going to make this happen.

I'm going to make that happen.

And so one of those cool things was like, all right, finding some chords, tuning the guitars.

That was a big thing yesterday.

They wanted to tune relatively quickly because obviously they haven't been tuned in a while.

Tune them, you gotta keep checking them, and then eventually they kind of hold their tune for a while, but you should always check them.

But yeah, this is day two.

It is, I don't know, it's one of those things, it's like when you set your mind to something, you just get it done, and it's great for mental health and all that other stuff that maybe you're dealing with.

With that said, if you find a YouTube channel that you like to watch, find an actual guitar teacher, find a song you want to play,

I actually dabbled today with Usician, which is the app that allows you to kind of learn yourself, but it also is like the free, it came with like Guitar Tuna, which is the free guitar app that I use to tune my guitars and all my other instruments.
