I want to start, I got to start getting back in the habit of getting these podcasts back out to you guys, because I know that each and every one of you is just sitting there like a junkie in withdrawal because you're like, where's my cabin?

And you know, and I get that.

But I hope you've been out there working on your job, working on your job skills, working on getting a job, working on getting a

promotion at your job working on upgrading your benefit even if you're even if what you're doing to make your job your life more efficient and better doesn't immediately arise in a in a promotion like you do something better for one week and a lot of people like oh I need a promotion right now it's like no no promotions are things that are

are given when they're due.

And sometimes you can work thanklessly for years and then inevitably you have to leave because it's been years, not like, Oh, I've been doing this for two months this way and it's really helping out.

And maybe sometimes people don't notice because there's a lot of **** going on.

Well, guess what?

You know that you're doing a good job and that's really all that matters.

If you're doing a good job and you get noticed, great.

If not, just keep at it because the fact that you're willing to

you know, go the extra mile and then, you know, it's sometimes, a lot of times it's that going the extra mile where people aren't watching you is when you're like, is what the purpose of it is.

Like I've worked a lot of different jobs in the past and you know, all of a sudden it's like, hey, you know, this person's doing a great job and you know what I mean?

But it's like, well,

To a certain degree, you're doing it because you want the promotion, but that shouldn't be the number one reason you're doing it, right?

You should be doing it because you're taking pride in your work and your craft or whatever it is that you do.

If you're a really good accountant, you shouldn't just make arbitrary errors just because they're not paying you enough.

That's just a dumb thing to do.

But regardless, rabbit hole, I just wanted to check in and see how your job lie was going.
